Chıldınü Oxford believes that building authentic caring relationships among children, adults, Educators and communities, contribute to the healthy growth and development of children. The Chıldınü Oxford’s team includes the Supervisor, Early Learning Resource Consultants, and a Diverse Needs Facilitator.
The Early Learning Resource Consultants provide information, support and consultation services to families and community child care setting staff in a comprehensive and flexible manner that supports the principles of inclusion and the priorities of families. The Resource Consultants provide consultation to the community at large by: promoting the philosophy of inclusion throughout the community; providing information and resource to the community at large; developing and presenting training/community awareness workshop; and facilitating the placement of students from educational facilities in the Resource Consultant Program/ Early Childhood Education Program.The Diverse Needs Facilitator provides support to the program staff of a community child care setting to respond to the diverse needs of all children. The Diverse Needs Facilitator collaborates with Resource Consultants and Early Learning Centres by providing information, resources, and/or training as necessary and appropriate to create an inclusive environment and curriculum. They provide expertise on the best approach for the diverse needs of the children; including hands on support, information, specialized equipment, and training. The also provide support to families who are seeking licensed child care and have concerns about their child’s development.
Individuals who are hired to work for our organization must possess the following: current Standard First Aid Including Infant and Toddler CPR, a satisfactory Criminal Reference Check-including Vulnerable Sector (less than 6 months) and a completed Health and Immunization Form.
